All transactions between members taking place outside the Exchange Room shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the Exchange.

Should it come to the knowledge of any member of this Exchange that a broker, either in Christchurch or elsewhere, has failed to meet his engagements, the said member must at once report the circumstances to the Chairman, who shall bring the matter before the Exchange at its first meeting, for decision as to what action shall be taken. Any member failing or neglecting to report to the Chairman as above specified shall be liable to be fined a sum not exceeding £200, or to be suspended at the option of the Exchange.

Notice of Intention to take Land in the Town of Hokitika for the Purposes of a Drill-shed.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a drill-shed. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Hokitika, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

Tenders must be addressed to the Chairman, Public Service Stores Tender Board, Wellington. Delivery of the material is to be made as shown in the Conditions of Tender, and successful tenderers will be required to give the security required by the conditions for the due performance of the contract. Particulars and conditions of tendering and specifications may be obtained at the offices of the Controller of Stores, Post and Telegraph Department, Wellington, the District Storekeeper, Post and Telegraph Department, Christchurch, or the Chief Postmasters at Auckland and Dunedin, where samples may be seen.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
