NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately
subsisting between us the undersigned EDMUND
ANSCOMBE and LESLIE DOUGLAS COOMBS, carrying on business
as Architects at Union Bank Building, Princes
Street, Dunedin, and in the National Bank Building, “The
Crescent,” Invercargill, under the style or firm of “Edmund
Anscombe and Leslie D. Coombs, A.R.I.B.A.,” has this day
been dissolved by mutual consent.
All debts due to or owing by the said late firm will be
received and paid by the said EDMUND ANSCOMBE, who will
continue the said business under his own name at the above
address; and the said LESLIE DOUGLAS COOMBS will be carrying
on practice on his own account in Dunedin aforesaid at
an address to be advertised.
As witness our hands this third day of September, one
thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO RAISE
A LOAN.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans
Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the
ratepayers of the County of Wanganui taken on the 10th
day of September, 1913, on the proposal of the Wanganui
County Council to borrow the sum of £2,000 for the purpose
of erecting County Council Offices and acquiring a site for
same, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 69,
and the number of votes recorded against proposal was 6.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

MAORI HILL BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESULT OF POLL.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of
September, 1913, a proposal was submitted by the
Maori Hill Borough Council to the ratepayers of West Ward
of the said borough for raising a special loan of five hundred
and fifty pounds for the purposes of street-construction and
street-lighting within the said ward, and that the number of
votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was
as follows : For the proposal, 17 votes; against the proposal, 0 votes; majority for the proposal, 17.
The said proposal is hereby declared to be carried.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of
September, 1913, a proposal was submitted by the
Maori Hill Borough Council to the ratepayers of North Ward
of the said borough for raising a special loan of three hundred
pounds for the purpose of street-lighting within the said
ward, and that the number of votes recorded respectively
for and against the proposal was as follows: For the proposal, 27 votes; against the proposal, 8; majority for the
proposal, 19.
The said proposal is hereby declared to be carried.

FRANKTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESULT OF POLL.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans
Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the
ratepayers of the Borough of Frankton taken on the 27th
day of August, 1913, on the proposal of the Frankton
Borough Council to borrow the sum of £6,000 (six thousand
pounds) for the purposes of liquidating the liabilities on the
waterworks and electric light, and for further extensions of
same within the Borough of Frankton or otherwise, the
number of votes recorded for the proposal was 75, and the
number of votes recorded against the proposal was 10.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately
existing between CHARLES TAZEWELL NEWTON and
CHARLES WOOD, carrying on business as Sheep-farmers, under
the style of “Wood and Newton,” at Cheddar Valley, near
Waiau, in the Land District of Canterbury, was dissolved on
the 14th day of August, 1912, by mutual consent.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line
for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged
23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
