THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a post-office; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect from and after the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Stopping Government Roads in Blocks VIII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVIII, and XIX, Whernside Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government roads described in the Schedule hereto are no longer required for the purpose of roads:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

Allocating Cost of taking Poll under Section 19 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, Borough of Takapuna.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of September, 1913.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the powers vested in him by section nineteen of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the Takapuna Borough Council shall defray all the costs incurred in connection with the taking of a poll under the said Act on the twenty-eighth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, on the proposal to constitute the Borough of Takapuna.

Amending Regulations for Trout-fishing, Buller Acclimatization Society.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of September, 1913.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 84, of the thirtieth day of the same month, regulations were made for trout-fishing in the Buller Acclimatization District:
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations in the manner hereinafter described:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the hereinbefore-recited regulations by adding the following proviso to clause five thereof:—
“Provided that nothing herein contained shall prevent the placing of nets at any place in the Buller River below a straight line drawn across the said river opposite Lynhurst Street, or at any place in the Orowaiti River below the old bridge, for the purpose of taking sea-fish only in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and any regulations made thereunder, nor render any person liable to any penalty for so doing, or for taking sea-fish by such means.”
