thereon coloured yellow.

Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in

ment House, at Wellington, this ninth day of

Defining the Middle-line of a Further Portion of the Kawa-
kawa-Hokianga Railway, viz., from 16 Miles 25 Chains to
21 Miles.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Kawakawa-Hokianga Railway (here-
inafter termed “the said railway”) is a railway
the construction of which is authorized by the Railways
Authorization Act, 1911: And whereas the said railway
has been partly constructed, and it has been determined to
construct and maintain a further portion of the same:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zea-
land, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities conferred on me by the Public Works Act, 1908,
and in exercise of every other power and authority in any-
wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the middle-line of the said further portion of
the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Kaikohe Station in Kohewhata
Block, Block XV, Omapere Survey District, marked 16 miles
25 chains, which point is also the termination of the railway
described in a Proclamation dated the 3rd day of February,
1911, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11,
page 510, of the ninth day of the same month; proceeding
thence in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance
of about 4 miles 55 chains and passing in, into, through, or
over the following lands, &c., viz.: Kohewhata, Te Tahuna,
Te Piria we Blocks, Block XV, Omapere Survey District;
Te Tarairi Block, Blocks XV, XIV, and X, Omapere Survey
District; and terminating at a point in the said Te Tarairi
Block, Block X, Omapere Survey District, marked 21 miles;
including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves,
roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in
the Land District of Auckland: as the same is delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 33949, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Provincial District.

Altering the Middle-line of a Portion of the North Auckland
Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS under the provisions in that behalf of sec-
tion one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public
Works Act, 1908, the middle-line of a portion of the North
Auckland Railway was defined by a Proclamation dated the
sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and
eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 51,
page 1996, of the twenty-third day of the same month:
And whereas it has been found necessary in the construc-
tion of such railway to alter a portion of such line in
manner hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zea-
land, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred
upon me by the aforesaid section one hundred and eighty-
eight, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me
in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the Schedule
to the said Proclamation as defines the middle-line of the
said railway between the points marked 89 miles and 91
miles 13.18 chains shown on plan numbered P.W.D. 29532
referred to therein; and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim
and declare that the middle-line of the said portion of rail-
way shall be as defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Huarau Block 1055 (red),
Block XVI, Matakohe Survey District, which point is marked
89 miles on the line of railway shown on plan P.W.D. 29532
quoted in the aforesaid Proclamation, proceeding thence in
a northerly direction generally for a distance of 2 miles
39 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following
lands, &c., viz.: Huarau Block 1055 (red), Sections 86,
E. 85, 85, 84, and 28, Block XVI, Matakohe Survey District,
Sections S.W. 29, N.E. 29, S.W. 30, 78, Block XII, Matakohe
Survey District, and terminating at a point in the said
Section 78, Block XII, Matakohe Survey District, marked
91 miles 39 chains (which point is coincident with the point
marked 91 miles 13•18 chains on the line of railway shown
on the said plan P.W.D. 29532), including all adjoining and
intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes,
rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the Auckland Land
District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 33932, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur
William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents
of the owners and mortgagees of the land described in the
Schedule hereto, and of the Hokianga County Council,
being the local authority in whose district the said land is
situated, proclaim as a road the land in Whangape Survey
District described in the Schedule hereto.
