Note. — A warm and dry month, with northerly winds prevailing. Total bright sunshine, 243 hours 20 minutes; average sunshine, 7 hours 51 minutes per diem. One frost was recorded. Earth temperature during the month rose 13 degrees at a depth of 1 ft. and 3 ft., while the mean temperature at the former was 64·4° and 61·9° at the latter depth. Mean dew-point, 51·4°; mean elastic force of vapour, 0·379 inches; mean relative humidity, 70 per cent. of saturation.
