Resolution made by the Mangaweka Town Board.

THE following resolution, made by the Mangaweka Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

MANGAWEKA TOWN BOARD.

Resolution.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Mangaweka Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of £900, authorized to be raised under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of supplying electricity to the inhabitants of Mangaweka, and to light streets and public places, the Mangaweka Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound sterling to be levied upon the rateable valuation (on the basis of capital value) of the rateable property of the Town District of Mangaweka; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 14th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE following resolution, made by the Tamaki West Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD.

Resolution making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Tamaki West Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of erecting a reservoir for water-supply, and laying mains, and other necessary work and contingencies, and engineering charges in connection with obtaining a water service for the district, the Tamaki West Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound sterling to be levied upon the rateable valuations (on the basis of the capital value) of the rateable property of the Road District of Tamaki West; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

We hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tamaki West Road Board held on Friday, the 6th day of December, 1912.

Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

POINT CHEVALIER ROAD BOARD.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Point Chevalier Road District taken on the 11th day of January, 1913, on a proposal by the Point Chevalier Road Board to borrow the sum of £11,500 for general road-improvement purposes, the number of votes recorded in favour of the proposal was 86, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 12.

We therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of that portion of the Tamaki West Road District in the special-rating area, being the land shown on a plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office, at Auckland, under No. 410, was taken on the 18th day of January, 1913, on the proposal to raise a special loan of £500 for forming, making, and laying out bowling-greens, croquet-lawns, tennis-lawns, and cricket-grounds, erecting stand or pavilion, and making other improvements to the St. Helier’s Recreation Reserve, and contingencies and expenses in connection therewith.

The number of valid votes recorded for the proposal was 56. The number of valid votes recorded against the proposal was 10. The total number of valid votes recorded was 66.

I therefore declare the above proposal to be carried.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 15 of the Land Act, 1908, I hereby authorize the laying-off of Hamlins Road, in the Town of Penrose Extension No. 2, Auckland Land District, of a width of not less than 66 ft. instead of 99 ft.
