Port of Geelong.—Hopetoun Channel.

Pilots, exempt masters, and others are hereby notified that on or about the 30th instant three (3) single pile beacons will be erected in the following positions, namely :—

On the north side of the channel, and in line with the red beacons, and opposite Nos. 3 and 5 black beacons.

On the south side of the channel, and in line with the black beacons, and opposite No. 4 red beacon.

The single pile beacons are to assist navigators to keep the centre of the channel during daylight.
