BOROUGH OF DARGAVILLE.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO RAISE A LOAN.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Dargaville taken on the 8th day of May, 1913, on the proposal of the Dargaville Borough Council to borrow the sum of £26,500 for the inauguration and construction of a gravitation water-supply scheme for the borough, and the engineering charges in connection therewith, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 50, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 38 ; informal, 1.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
