Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waione No. 3B will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Ruato, Rotoiti, on Thursday, the 13th day of February, 1913, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

"That a proposed lease of the said land and grant of timber-cutting rights to Maurice O'Connor shall be agreed to."

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Pakihikura No. 2 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne, on Tuesday, the 11th day of February, 1913, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

"That a lease of the said block of land or part thereof be given to Florence Emme Hawkins, wife of David Charles Hawkins, of Te Araroa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the Government capital valuation of the said land, together with a right of a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken. Lease to contain the usual covenants."
