Prohibition of Money-order and Postal Correspondence for the Imperial Loan and Finance Company and W. F. McCabe, Auckland.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable grounds for supposing that the company and person whose names and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in a fraudulent business, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of the said company or the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said company, or to the said person (either by its or his own or any fictitious or assumed name), or to the manager, secretary, or other officer of the said company, or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand.

The Land-tax and Income-tax Act, 1912.

BY Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency the Governor in Council on the 23rd day of December ultimo under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the respective duties by way of income-tax, leviable under the said Act, should be paid in one sum on Friday, the 31st day of January, 1913, at the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that the said duties will be payable accordingly.
