Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block IX,
Arnold Survey District, reserved for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms part of land reserved for the purposes of the
Nelson-Greymouth Railway (Greymouth to Brunnerton Sec-
tion), and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to
the purposes of a road :

And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of
Public Works that such land is not required for railway pur-
poses: And whereas such land is situated in the Grey
County, the local authority of which has consented to the
issue of this Proclamation, and appears to be the local
authority most capable of conveniently and effectively con-
trolling and maintaining the said road :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public
Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in
anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall,
upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette,
become a road, and that the said road shall be maintained by
the Grey County Council in like manner as other public high-
ways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 32911,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at

Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of
January, in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and thirteen.

District, Murchison County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur Wil-
liam de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of
the lessee of the land described in the Schedule hereto,
and of the Murchison County Council, being the local au-
thority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim
as a road the land in Matiri Survey District described in
the Schedule hereto.

ERRATUM.—On page 3634 of the New Zealand Gazette No. 92, of the 19th December, 1912, in the Order in Council
licensing Carder Brothers and Company to occupy a part of a foreshore at Hobsonville, in Auckland Harbour,
“plan marked M.D. 3965” should read “plan marked M.D. 3966” wherever it occurs.
