Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Ngamotu will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Monday, the 19th day of May, 1913, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ To consider a proposal to set aside 100 acres, more or less, and authorize the Board to either (1) sell the same in accordance with Part XIV, or (2) lease the same under the provisions of Part XIV.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Opoho No. 4c Block (containing 24 acres, more or less) will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Monday, the 19th day of May, 1913, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That the said land be sold to Mary Vaughan, wife of Fred. Vaughan, of Tahaenui, near Wairoa, sheep-farmer, at the present Government valuation (reserving thereout to the owners of the said land about half an acre as a graveyard).”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kauhauroa 4c will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Monday, the 19th day of May, 1913, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That the said block be sold to Haami Kaata, of Fraser-town, sheep-farmer, for a sum equal to the present Government valuation of the capital value of the said block, such value to be ascertained by a special valuation of same to be made by the district valuer; or in the alternative

“ That the said block be leased to Haami Kaata, of Fraser-town, sheep-farmer, for the term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to five per cent. on the present unimproved value of the land, with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to five per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land, and with the right to compensation for all improvements.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kahaatureia A will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Monday, the 19th day of May, 1913, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That 20 acres of the said block, now set aside as a site for a papakainga, be leased by the Board under the provisions of Part XIV.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Pukenui No. 2r will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Kuiti on Tuesday, the 6th day of May, 1913, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That an offer made by the Crown to purchase shall be accepted.”
