DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership previously existing between WILLIAM HENLEY and HARWOOD WALTER HESLOP, as Land Agents, under the title of “Bowker’s Land Agency,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from 1st March last; and that the business will in future be carried on by the said HARWOOD WALTER HESLOP on his own account, and that he will pay all debts due by and receive all moneys owing to the late Partnership firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned, HARRY TREZARE JEFFREE, of Berwick, Farmer, and ARTHUR JAMES THOMSON, of Milton, Flax-miller, under the name or style of “Jeffree and Thomson,” who carried on business as Flax-millers at Berwick aforesaid, has this day been dissolved.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between THOMAS SCOTT and JOHN WILSON, carrying on business as Venetian-blind Manufacturers at 38–40 St. Andrew Street, Dunedin, under the style or firm of “Scott and Wilson,” has been dissolved as from the 10th day of February, 1913. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by JOHN WILSON, who will continue to carry on the said business under the style or firm of “Scott and Wilson.”

UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1908.

To the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Lawrence.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned, the Waitahuna Hydraulic Sluicing Company (Limited), whose registered office is in Ross Place, Lawrence, Mining Company, being the holder of the license specified in the Schedule, hereby applies for a renewal thereof for a term of fifteen years, commencing on the expiry of the current term.

Name and locality of mining privilege: License for an extension of Water-race No. 1011 to divert 15 heads of water for mining purposes, commencing at the termination in Section 30, Block VI, Tuapeka East District, of license for water-race held by applicants, No. 1011; thence running through Sections 30, 19, 25, 38, 8, and 27, Block VI, same district; thence through Crown lands and Sections 21 and 7, Block X, Waitahuna East District; and terminating near the southern corner of Section 37, Block X, Waitahuna East District. Length, 4 miles 55 chains and 69 links. Depth, 1ft. 8in. Breadth, 3ft. 6in. One point of intake at commencement. Race constructed and in use. Together with a mining privilege No. 504, and dated 18th April, 1904, granting to the applicants the use for the purpose of the construction, maintenance, and improvement of the above extension of water-race for facilitating mining operations a strip of land 40 ft. wide along the entire length of the course of the above extension of Water-race No. 1011. Land presently in use by applicants.

Length of race, 4 miles. Course, south-westerly. One point of intake at commencement. Mean depth, 1ft. 8in. Mean breadth, 3ft. 6in. Race constructed and in use. Purpose for which water is to be used, mining.
