Amended Scale of Fees under the Servants' Registry Offices Act, 1908.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirty-first day of March, 1913.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise of the power conferred upon him by the Servants' -Registry Offices Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities him enabling in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke, as from the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, the Order in Council made under the said Act on the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the Gazette of the tenth idem, at page 3027; and in lieu thereof doth hereby prescribe the following scales of fees chargeable by and payable to licenseholders in respect of the hiring of servants, to come into force as from the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

SCALE OF FEES.

For every engagement actually made,
Single engagements—
Where weekly rate of wages does not exceed 5s... 1 0 2 0
Where weekly rate of wages exceeds 5s. but does not exceed 10s... 1 0 4 0
Where weekly rate of wages exceeds 10s. but does not exceed 15s... 2 0 5 0
Where weekly rate of wages exceeds 15s. but does not exceed £1... 2 0 6 0
Where weekly rate of wages exceeds £1... 2 6 7 6
Married couples—
Where yearly rate of wages does not exceed £52... 2 0 6 0
Where yearly rate of wages exceeds £52... 2 6 7 6
In the case of country engagements, meaning thereby those which are for places situate more than three miles from the licenseholder's office, the following additional fees shall be payable :—
Single engagements—
Where the weekly rate of wages does not exceed 10s... 0 6 1 6
Where the weekly rate of wages exceeds 10s... 1 0 3 0
Married couples, in every case... 1 0 3 0

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of Napier of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirty-first day of March, 1913.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and seventy-eight of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that, where the configuration of any borough is such as that within any particular area or areas thereof it is difficult or inexpedient to construct streets of a width of sixty-six feet, as required by the said Act, the Governor may, by Order in Council defining the limits of such particular area or areas, authorize the Council to permit within such area or areas the construction of streets or private streets of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet:
And whereas the configuration of the Borough of Napier is such that within the area described in the Schedule hereto it is inexpedient to construct streets of a width of sixty-six feet:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Napier Borough Council to permit, within the area described in the Schedule hereto, the laying-off of a street within the said area of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land situated in the Borough of Napier Hawke's Bay Land District, being portion of Suburban Section 28, having an area of 2 acres 2 roods 20 perches, adjoining Napier Terrace and Burns Road; as the said land is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 33267, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon bordered red.

Regulations under the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909 (Advances to Local Authorities).

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirty-first day of March, 1913.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Regulations Nos. 5 and 8 made under the said Act on the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and doth hereby make the following regulations, and doth declare that those regulations shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
