Boundaries of Havelock North Town District, County of
Hawke's Bay, enlarged.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the sixth day of
February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the seventh
day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve,
the Town District of Havelock North was duly constituted
and proclaimed under the Town Boards Act, 1908, with
the boundaries described in the Schedule to the said Pro-
clamation:
And whereas it is expedient to enlarge the boundaries of
the said town district in the manner hereinafter set forth,
and which said enlargement does not exceed the limits pre-
scribed by the said Act for the area of a town district:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the
said Town Boards Act, 1908, do hereby enlarge the said Town
District of Havelock North by adding thereto the area de-
scribed in the First Schedule hereto, and do declare that on
and after the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine
hundred and thirteen, the boundaries of the said town district
shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded
towards the south-west and north-east by the present bound-
aries of the Havelock North Town District from the northern
side of Cemetery Road to the easternmost corner of Allotment
No. 31 on Plan No. 2051, deposited in the office of the District
Land Registrar at Napier; thence across Te Mata Road to
the north-eastern corner of Allotment No. 2 on Plan No. 1900,
deposited as aforesaid; thence towards the east and south-
east by the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said
Allotment No. 2 to the southern side of Cemetery Road;
and thence by the abutment of that road to the place of
commencement.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
HAVELOCK NORTH TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded
towards the north by the Karituwhenua Stream from the
Old Ngaruroro River to the north-western corner of
Block IX, Te Mata Crown-grant District; thence towards
the north-east by the said Block IX to the southern side of
the road forming the north-western boundary of the land
shown on plans Nos. 2051 and 1968, deposited in the office of
the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence towards the
north-west by that road to the northernmost corner of Allot-
ment No. 1 on plan No. 1968 aforesaid; thence again to-
wards the north-east generally by the north-eastern boundary
of the said Allotment No. 1 and the north-eastern boundaries
of Allotments Nos. 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 30, and 31 on plan
No. 2051 aforesaid to Te Mata Road; thence by a right line
across that road to the north-eastern corner of Allotment
No. 2 on plan No. 1900, deposited in the office of the District
Land Registrar at Napier; thence by the eastern and south-
eastern boundaries of the said Allotment No. 2 to the southern
side of Cemetery Road; thence by the abutment of that road
to its northern side; thence towards the south-east by the
north-western side of Cemetery Road to the Herehere Stream;
thence towards the south-west generally by the Herehere
Stream to the Old Ngaruroro River; and thence towards the
north-west by the Old Ngaruroro River to the Karituwhenua
Stream, the place of commencement.

Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House, at Wellington, this thirty-first day
of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and thirteen.
