BALLINGER BROTHERS (LIMITED).

IN LIQUIDATION.

THE undersigned, as Liquidator of BALLINGER BROTHERS (LIMITED), hereby calls a general meeting of the said company to be held at the office of Messieurs Carlile, McLean, Scannell, and Wood, Solicitors, Queen Street, Hastings, on Friday, the 14th day of March, 1913, at the hour of 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of laying before such meeting the account showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and offering such explanation as may be requisite with regard to the same.

In the matter of THE WORLDS PICTURES (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the office of Mr. W. E. C. Reid, Dispensary Buildings, corner of Princes Street and Moray Place, Dunedin, on the 22nd day of January, 1913, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 21st day of February, 1913, the following resolution was duly confirmed, namely:—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily; and that WILLIAM EDWIN CHARLES REID, of Dunedin, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

TAIHAPE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments, and of the taking under the said Act of certain land within the Borough of Taihape.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Taihape proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take certain lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes named therein; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Hautapu Street, in the said borough, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the taking of such lands should, if they have well-grounded objections to the taking of the said lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Taihape Borough Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

NOTICE CONVENING FINAL MEETING.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the voluntary liquidation of the West Coast Farmers’ Trading Association (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section two hundred and thirty (230) of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held in the Liquidator’s office, High Street, Hawera, on Friday, the 14th day of March, 1913, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.
