Major William Garnett Braithwaite, D.S.O., Imperial General
Staff, General Staff Officer, Auckland District, is granted
the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel whilst so em-
ployed. Dated 1st February, 1913.

Major James Kilvington Cochrane, Imperial General Staff,
Director of Military Operations, is granted the temporary
rank of Lieutenant-Colonel whilst so employed. Dated 1st
February, 1913.

Captain the Honourable Richard Henn Collins, D.S.O., Im-
perial General Staff, to be Adjutant-General to the Forces
(temporary), vice Lieutenant-Colonel (temporary Colonel)
George Cecil Burleigh Wolfe, transferred to the Reserve of
Officers, and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-
Colonel whilst so employed. Dated 1st February, 1913.

2nd Lieutenant Arthur Tahu Gravenor Rhodes, Grenadier
Guards (Special Reserve), to be Aide-de-Camp to the General
Officer Commanding New Zealand Military Forces. Dated
1st January, 1913.

Lieutenant-Colonel Geoffrey Sherborne Clayton, T.D., resigns
his appointment as Principal Medical Officer to the Canter-
bury Military District. Dated 31st December, 1912.

Lieutenant-Colonel Geoffrey Sherborne Clayton, T.D., is trans-
ferred to the Reserve of Officers, New Zealand Medical
Corps. Dated 31st December, 1912.

Edward Henry Scott, M.B., to be Lieutenant. Dated 14th
January, 1913.

New Zealand Chaplains Department.

The Reverend Edgar James McFarland, Chaplain (4th Class),
to be Chaplain (3rd Class). Dated 24th December, 1912.

The Right Reverend Bishop Charles Oliver Mules, Chaplain
