A. R. P. 4 3 36·8 Lot 23, D.P. 1368, and being part of Original Section 312 XIII Te Kawau P.W.D 30137 Green.

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Land taken for Forest-plantation Purposes in Block V, Tarawera Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for forest plantation purposes in Block V, Tarawera Survey District:

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for forest-plantation purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

WHEREAS part of the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, for scenic purposes:

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of part of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

And whereas it is desirable to take only the surface of such land, but exclusive of subsoil thereof, for such purposes:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the surface of the land described in the Schedule hereto, but exclusive of the subsoil thereof, is hereby taken for scenic purposes as aforesaid; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.
