NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 326 of the Land Act, 1908, that the undermentioned lands are open for sale or selection under the provisions of the said Act; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Invercargill, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, the 26th day of February, 1913.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of the Land Act, 1908, and regulations thereunder, that the undermentioned kauri timber will be offered for sale by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 12 o’clock noon on Thursday, 12th December, 1912, subject to the terms and conditions stated herein and any other special conditions mentioned at time of sale.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WAITEMATA COUNTY.
Section 16, Waitakere Parish (Education Reserve).
16 GREEN, 3 dry, and 2 scorched kauri-trees, containing approximately 90,285 sup. ft. (standing measurement).
Distinguishing brand, thus : F

Time for removal : One year.
CONDITIONS.

Intending purchasers are expected to visit the locality, and to satisfy themselves in every particular on all matters relating to the sale.

The right is reserved to the Commissioner of Crown Lands to withdraw from sale the above lot of timber either before or during the time of sale.

The aforementioned quantity, quality, and kind as to the said timber shall be taken as sufficiently accurate for the purpose of this sale, and no contract for purchase shall be voidable, nor shall the successful purchaser be entitled to any abatement in price, by reason of the said timber being of less quantity, quality, and kind than as stated herein or in any advertisement having reference to the said timber, nor shall any extra sum be claimed by the Crown if the said quantity of timber is found to be in excess of that stated herein.

The quantity stated is standing measurement, and only those trees bearing the special distinguishing brand stated are included in this sale.

Should any dispute arise as to boundaries, the decision of the Commissioner of Crown Lands shall be final.

In the event of the above lot not being disposed of, application may be received and dealt with at any time within six months from the date of sale (unless previously formally withdrawn), providing, however, that the amount offered is not less than the upset price stated herein.

The lot herein described is submitted for sale subject to the final acceptance of the highest bid by the Minister of Lands.
Plans and conditions of sale may be seen at the Waitakere Post-office or at the above office.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned pastoral run will be offered for license by public auction at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, at 11 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, the 9th January, 1913, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
Class A.
PASTORAL RUN No. 242, Block III, Teviotdale Survey District, Waipara County; 445 acres 1 rood; upset annual rental, £112; term of lease, ten years.
Weighted with £24, for about 60 chains of old fencing.
The run consists of deep gullies and wide spurs, which could be ploughed. Portion has been roughly grassed, and in its present state would pasture about 440 sheep, but with cultivation would carry more.
