PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1908, and its amendments, I hereby notify that the undermentioned Crown land, being the land known as the Sherwood Downs Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Acts, is subject to the said Acts as from 30th March, 1912.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 10,071 acres, more or less, situate in Blocks IX, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, Four Peaks Survey District, and Blocks II and III, Opihi Survey District, being Pastoral Run No. 8, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Section 26, Tripp Settlement, and the north branch of the Haehae-te-Moana River; towards the east generally by Rural Sections 34620, 34621, 30690, 22499, 7341, 30536, and 30972; towards the south and south-west generally by the south branch of the Haehae-te-Moana River and part of the road forming the northern boundary of Rural Section 36097 and by Griffith Stream; and towards the west by Pastoral Run No. 14.
