Constituting the Town District of Raetihi, in the County of Waimarino.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS is it enacted by the Town Boards Act, 1908, that the Governor may declare that any locality outside a borough wherein there are not less than fifty householders shall be a town district:
And whereas a petition has been presented to the Governor by the inhabitants within the area mentioned and described in the Schedule hereto, praying that such area may be constituted a town district under the Town Boards Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Town Boards Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the said area shall be a town district, and the same is hereby constituted a town district, under the Town Boards Act, 1908, by the name of the Raetihi Town District: And, in further pursuance and exercise of the said powers, I do hereby proclaim, declare, and appoint that the Board of Commissioners for the said district shall consist of seven members.
SCHEDULE.
RAETIHI TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north by Section No. 8, Block VI, Makotuku Survey District, from the eastern boundary of Section No. 26 to the Makotuku Valley Road; thence across that road to the right bank of the Makotuku Stream; thence towards the east by that stream to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section No. 23, Block VI aforesaid; thence towards the south by a right line to and by the northern boundary of the said Section No. 23 to its north-western corner; thence towards the west by Sections Nos. 20 and 19 to the north-eastern corner of the latter section; thence again towards the south by the said Section No. 19 to the Hukaroa Road; thence again towards the west generally by the eastern side of that road to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 26, Block VI aforesaid; and thence by that section to the south-western corner of Section No. 8, the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majestyβs Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VI, Okains Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a road in Block VI, Okains Survey District:
And whereas agreements have been entered into with the owners of the land described in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the purposes of a road:
And whereas the Le Bons Bay Road Board has laid before the Governor a memorial, together with a map in duplicate, as required by the Public Works Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreements hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
