I, ARTHUR BUSHBY PEARSON, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Doctor of Medicine of the University of Edinburgh, and holder of a Diploma in Public Health from the Royal College of Surgeons and Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Royal Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, now residing in Christchurch, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 31st day of November next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths at Christchurch.

SPECIAL PARTNERSHIP.
WE, the undersigned, comprising the members of a special partnership under Part II of the Partnership Act, 1908, certify to the following particulars of such partnership:—
(a.) The style of the firm under which the partnership is to be conducted is “Garrett Brothers and Company.”
(b.) The general partners are ALEXANDER GARRETT, of Auckland, in New Zealand, Clerk, and JOHN GARRETT, of Auckland aforesaid, Saddler, and the special partner is THOMAS HUTCHISON NICHOLSON, of Auckland aforesaid, Gentleman.
(c.) The amount of capital contributed by the special partner is one hundred and sixty pounds, and each of the general partners is credited with the sum of one hundred and sixty pounds capital in respect of certain rights and interests acquired by the partnership from them in respect of automatic advertising-machines and dish-washing machines.
(d.) The general nature of the business to be transacted is the undertaking of advertising and the manufacture and sale of dish-washing machines, and matters necessary or incidental thereto.
(e.) The principal place at which such business is to be transacted is Auckland aforesaid.
(f.) The partnership shall commence on the 1st day of November, 1912, and is to terminate on the 1st day of November, 1919, subject to the right of the special partner to dissolve the same at any time.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between SAMUEL THORNLEY and JOHN ELLMERS, carrying on business at Hawarden as Threshing-machine Proprietors, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts owing to the late firm will be received by the said SAMUEL THORNLEY, who will pay all liabilities of the late firm.
