NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between Messrs. AITKEN and OTHERS, known as the "Star Gold-dredging Syndicate," of Maitland, Dredge-owners, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between MILTON LANE and HARRY DOUGLAS, carrying on business at Hastings as Fish-dealers, under the name of "Douglas Bros.," has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
The business will in future be carried on by the said MILTON LANE, who will receive all debts due to, and who will pay all liabilities owing by, the late firm.

PUBLIC NOTICE.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Remuera Road Board to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purpose of a waterworks, the following lands, namely:
Area required to be taken. Being Part of Section
5 acres .. .. .. 52, Waitemata Parish.
A plan showing the land to be taken is deposited at the residence of the Schoolmaster, at Panmure, where it may be inspected by all persons during business hours. The works proposed to be executed are waterworks for the supply of water to the Remuera Road District.
All persons affected are hereby required to set forth, in writing, any well-grounded objection to the execution of such works or the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days of the first publication of this notice, to the Remuera Road Board.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between us, the undersigned, as General Agents, carrying on business under the name of "Baggett and Potts," at Wanganui and Hamilton, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 31st day of December, 1911. All accounts due to the Partnership may be paid at the office of the late firm at St. Hill Street, Wanganui, to Mr. H. E. D. Morshead.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
THE MOTOR REGULATION ACT, 1908.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, by resolution dated the 13th day of January, 1912, the Horowhenua County Council has decided that on and after the 10th day of February, 1912, Part II of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, providing for the registration of motors, shall be brought into operation in the Horowhenua County.
