Land proclaimed as a Road in Block VII, Heao Survey District, Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the Whangamomona County Council, being the local authority in whose district the land described in the Schedule hereto is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
W HEREAS by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), a Scenery Preservation Board is constituted, and it is enacted that such Board shall, when so directed by the Minister charged for the time being with the administration of the said Act, inspect any lands possessing scenic or historic interest, or on which there are thermal springs, and make inquiries respecting the same, and report to the Governor; and shall from time to time recommend what lands, whether Crown or private, shall be permanently reserved as scenic, thermal, or historic reserves: And whereas the said Board was duly directed to inspect and report on the land described in the Schedule hereunder, and has recommended that the said land should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers contained in the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereunder shall be a scenic reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
OTOROMIRO SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, being Section 13, Block XI, Orieri Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Section 14, Block XI, Orieri Survey District, a total distance of 2969·8 links; towards the south-west by a 1 chain reserve along the shores of Tira Bay; and towards the north-west by Section 7, Block XI, Orieri Survey District, 360 links, 332·1 links, and 249·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 385/5B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Also all that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 19 acres, more or less, being Section 14, Block XI, Orieri Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Small Grazing-run No. 27, 946·1 links; towards the north-east and south-east generally by a reserve along the shores of Miro Bay and Pelorus Sound to Section 13, Block XI, Orieri Survey District; and towards the south-west by said Section 13, a total distance of 2969·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 385/5A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Additional Land at Waipukurau taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
W HEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land at Waipukurau, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
