power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said further portion of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point in the railway reserve, Block XI, Cape Campbell Survey District, marked 51 miles 60 chains, and is the terminal point of the railway described in the Proclamation dated the 1st day of August, 1910, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75, of the 4th day of August, 1910; proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction for a distance of about 5 miles 20 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., railway reserve in Blocks X and XI, Cape Campbell Survey District; Sections 58, 59, and Crown land, Block XVII, Cape Campbell Survey District; Sections 267, 35, 36, 39, 67, 214, and Crown land, Block XVIII, Cape Campbell Survey District, and terminating at a point in Crown land, Block XVIII, Cape Campbell Survey District, which point is marked 57 miles, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Land District of Marlborough: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 32204, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Additional By-law for the Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of August, 1912.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain is subject to the provisions of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and it is expedient to make an additional by-law in respect to the management and control of that domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act and by section thirty-eight of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby make the following by-law for the management and administration of the said domain, in addition to the by-laws heretofore made in respect thereto dated the sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

BY-LAW.

(1.) EXCEPT with the consent of the officer in charge, as defined by the said by-laws dated the 6th day of April, 1911, it shall be unlawful to hold a public meeting for any purpose whatever upon any portion of the domain as defined in By-law (1) of the by-laws aforesaid. Every person who calls or assists in calling, or promotes or holds or is engaged in, and every person other than a constable or officer in charge as defined in By-law (1) aforesaid who is present at any public meeting held in breach of this by-law shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding £5.

Allocating Cost of taking Poll under Section 19 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910.—Proposed Borough of Fendalton.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of August, 1912.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in him by section nineteen of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the Waimairi County Council shall defray all the costs incurred in connection with the taking of a poll under the said Act on the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, on the proposal to constitute the Borough of Fendalton.

Altering the Boundaries of the Wellington Deeds Registration District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of August, 1912.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, certain alterations were made in the boundaries of the Taranaki and Wellington Deeds Registration Districts: And whereas an error has been found to exist in the description of the Wellington Deeds Registration District as set forth in the Schedule to the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Deeds Registration Act, 1908, in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said Schedule so far as regards the description of the Wellington Deeds Registration District, and doth substitute therefore the description following:—

Bounded towards the north-east generally by the Auckland Deeds Registration District as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 1, of the seventh January, one thousand nine hundred and four, from the confluence of the Wanganui River and the Ongaruhē River to the western boundary of the Hawke’s Bay Deeds Registration District as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 30, of the twenty-eighth April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight; thence towards the east and north generally by the said Hawke’s Bay Deeds Registration District to the sea; thence towards the south-east, south-west, and west generally by the sea to the mouth of the Patea River; and thence by the Taranaki Deeds Registration District as described in the said Order in Council to the place of commencement: including the adjacent islands and the Chatham Islands.
