Constituting the Borough of Otahuhu, County of Manukau.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a borough under the said Act on and from the second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve; that the name of such borough shall be the Borough of Otahuhu; that the said borough shall be an undivided borough; and that the number of Councillors to be elected thereto shall be eight, exclusive of the Mayor: And I do further proclaim and declare that Albert Ross, of Otahuhu, shall be the Returning Officer to conduct the first election of Mayor and Councillors of the said borough; and that the said Albert Ross shall be the Town Clerk and the person to prepare the district electors roll for the purposes of the said first election: And, lastly, I do proclaim and declare that the first election of Mayor and Councillors of the said borough shall be held on Saturday, the twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve; and that the first meeting of the Council of the said borough shall be held on Monday, the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, at seven o'clock in the afternoon, at the Masonic Hall, Otahuhu.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north generally by the County of Eden, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 74, of the 21st September, 1911, from the middle of the Main Trunk Railway line to the Otahuhu Creek; thence by that creek to the Tamaki River; thence towards the east and south-east generally by the Tamaki River to the Main Trunk Railway Reserve; thence by a line running in the direction of the middle of the road forming the north-western boundary of Section No. 36, Manurewa Parish, to the middle of the said railway reserve; and thence towards the south-west by a line along the middle of the said railway reserve to the southern boundary of the County of Eden, the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native Land Act, 1909, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby lay out and take as roads the land described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the fifth section of the Land Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke a Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and ten, setting apart lands for Rangitoto No. 1 Improved-farm Special Settlement, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.
