NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the shareholders in the above company will be held in the office of Messrs. R. F. Cuthbertson and Son, Accountants, Esk Street, Invercargill, at 2.45 p.m., on Monday, 12th August, 1912, to receive and consider the Liquidator’s account.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed by the members of the Crown Clothing Manufacturing Company (Limited) at a meeting held on Thursday, the 16th day of July, 1912, at 3 p.m.

Resolution.

“1. That it is desirable to reconstruct the company, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that GEORGE HANCOX and JAMES MAWSON STEWART, both of Christchurch, be and they are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up.
“2. That the said Liquidators be and they are hereby authorized to consent to the registration of a new company, to be called the ‘Crown Clothing Manufacturing Company (N.Z.) (Limited),’ with a memorandum and articles of association which have already been prepared with the privity and approval of the directors of the company.
“3. That the draft agreement submitted to this meeting and expressed to be made between this company and its Liquidators, of the one part, and the ‘Crown Clothing Manufacturing Company (N.Z.) (Limited),’ of the other part, be and the same is hereby approved; and that the said Liquidators be and they are hereby authorized, pursuant to section 259 of the Companies Act, 1908, to enter into an agreement with such new company (when incorporated) in the terms of the said draft, and to carry the same into effect, with such modifications as they think expedient.”

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON THE PROPOSAL THAT HENCEFORTH THE SYSTEM OF RATING PROPERTY ON THE BASIS OF THE UNIMPROVED VALUE THEREOF BE ADOPTED IN THE OTAUTAU TOWN DISTRICT.

PURSUANT to section 39 of the Rating Act, 1908, and amendments thereof, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Otautau Town District taken on Saturday, the 13th July, 1912, on the above proposal—

NOTICE is hereby given that the creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 14th day of August, 1912, to send their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims to the undersigned; and, if so required, by notice in writing, are to come in and prove their said debts or claims at the time and place to be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distributions made before such debts or claims are proved.
