Land in Nelson Land District surrendered.

NOTICE is hereby given that a surrender of the lease of the undermentioned land having been accepted by resolution of the Nelson Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land having been forfeited by resolution of the Taranaki Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

Reserve in Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Tender.

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders will be received at this office up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Friday, the 6th day of September, 1912, for a lease of the undermentioned land, under the provisions of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WAITOMO COUNTY.—OTANAKE SURVEY DISTRICT.

Known as the stock reserve. Situated on the Te Kuiti—Awakino Road about thirteen miles from Te Kuiti by formed dray-road, nine miles being metalled. Level land. Soil of medium quality, covered with manuka scrub and fern; well watered.

Terms and Conditions of Lease.

  1. Term of lease, seven years, without right of renewal, with right to the use of surface-soil only for pasturage or cultivation, and subject to termination at any time by twelve months’ notice in writing.

  2. The lessee shall have no right to compensation, either for improvements put on the land, or on account of the aforesaid resumption, or for any other cause; but he may, on the expiration or sooner determination of the lease, remove all buildings and fences erected by him, but not otherwise.

  3. The lessee shall not sublet, transfer, or otherwise dispose of his interest in the lease without the consent of the Commissioner of Crown Lands.

  4. The lessee shall prevent the growth and spread of all noxious weeds on the land, and he shall with all reasonable despatch remove or cause to be removed all noxious weeds or plants as may be directed by the Commissioner of Crown Lands.

  5. The lessee shall discharge all rates, taxes, charges, and other assessments that may become due and payable.

  6. Tenders to be indorsed on the outside “Stock Reserve.—Otanake Survey District,” and to be accompanied by the first half-year’s rent at the rate tendered, and lease fee £1 1s.

  7. The highest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Land in Otago Land District to be disposed of under Section 138 of the Land Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 326 of the Land Act, 1908, that Section 30, Block VIII, Catlins Survey District, containing an area of 92 acres 2 roods 37 perches, will be disposed of under section 138 of the said Act on or after Friday, 1st November, 1912.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 326 of the Land Act, 1908, that Section 6, Block V, Maungakaretu Survey District, containing 20 acres, will be disposed of to the holder of adjoining land, under section 128 of the Land Act, 1908, on or after Friday, the 30th day of August, 1912.
