REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Otangaroa No. 1b Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangaroa, on Thursday, the 15th day of August, 1912, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the land be accepted.”

“That the said block of land be sold to Sydney Burk Berghan, of Ahipara, storeman, at the price of 8s. an acre.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kaingapokeno No. 1 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangaroa, on Thursday, the 15th day of August, 1912, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be sold to Harata Hapeta for the sum of £1 5s. an acre, being the amount equal to the Government valuation of the land.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Matakara Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangaroa, on Thursday, the 15th day of August, 1912, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That the said land be sold to Hilda Florence Lane for the sum of £1 per acre, being not less than the present Government valuation of the land.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Taupo Block, Section 24, will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangaroa, on Thursday, the 15th day of August, 1912, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That 50 acres of the said block be sold to Lars Larensen Hasle, of Russell, for the sum of £1 per acre, or the amount of a special Government valuation, whichever is the greater; or, in the alternative, that such land be leased for a term of fifty years, at a rental for the first twenty-five years of 5 per cent. of the present Government valuation, and for the second twenty-five years at a rental of 5 per cent. of the Government unimproved valuation existing immediately at the expiration of the first twenty-five years.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kinohaku West S, Section 1a No. 5, will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Kuiti, on Saturday, the 10th day of August, 1912, at 10 o’clock a.m. in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the land, or any part thereof, shall be accepted.”
