Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Green Island
and of Taieri County.
Department of Internal Affairs,

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 20 of the
Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, the
boundaries of the Borough of Green Island are hereby
defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the bound-
aries of the said borough having been altered by Orders
in Council dated the 11th day of December, 1911, and 5th
March, 1912, made under the Municipal Corporations Act,
1908, and published respectively in Gazette No. 101, of
14th December, 1911, and Gazette No. 26, of 22nd March,
1912.
And also in pursuance of the provisions of the said
section 20 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act,
1910, the boundaries of Taieri County affected by the
alteration made by the said Orders in Council dated the
11th day of December, 1911, and the 5th day of March,
1912, are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule
hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF GREEN ISLAND.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District bounded by a
line commencing at the junction of Edward Street and
Gordon Street, in the Township of Burnside Extension;
thence southerly along the western side of Gordon Street,
276 links; thence easterly across Gordon Street and along
the southern boundary of Section No. 41, Block VI, Dun-
edin and East Taieri Survey District, to Duke Street;
thence along the southern side of Duke Street to Section
No. 61, Block VI aforesaid; thence south-easterly along
the south-western boundary of the last-mentioned section to
its south-western corner; thence easterly along the southern
boundary of that section, and north-easterly along its
south-eastern boundary and the south-eastern boundary of
Section No. 44 and part of the south-eastern boundary of
Section No. 45, Block VI aforesaid, to the northernmost
corner of Section No. 45, Lower Kaikorai District; thence
south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Section
No. 45, Block VI aforesaid, to its southernmost corner;
and thence along the south-western boundary of Section
