Resolution made by the Council of the Borough of Inglewood.

THE following resolution, made by the Inglewood Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

INGLEWOOD BOROUGH COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Inglewood Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges (including sinking fund) on a loan of £8,500, authorized to be raised by the Inglewood Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, for the purpose of acquiring the undertaking of the Inglewood Electric Light and Power Company (Limited), and its lands, water rights, easements, and appurtenances, and buildings, engines, machinery, poles, lines, and other things, and any other purpose incidental to or in relation to any of the above purposes, the Inglewood Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Inglewood; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Inglewood Borough Council held on the 19th day of June, 1912.

Resolution made by the Council of the County of Pahiatua.

THE following resolution, made by the Pahiatua County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Copy of Resolution passed by the Pahiatua County Council at Meeting held on 9th March, 1912.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of a loan of £200, and the interest thereon, by the periodical payments as required by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the charges and expenses incident thereto or connected therewith, which loan was duly authorized to be raised under the said Acts for the purpose of erecting a traffic-bridge over the Mangatoro Stream at McKenzie’s Crossing, the Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of the rateable property within the Mangatoro Bridge Special-rating area—viz., Sections 18, 19, 20, part 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 51, the school reserve and the township reserves, Block VII, Makuri Survey District; Sections 3, 27, 28, 31, 49, 50, 53, Block XVI, Makuri Survey District; Sections 26 and 29, Block I, Mount Cerberus Survey District; Sections 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, part 38, 42, and 43, Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey District—such rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, at 3¾ per cent. per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Pahiatua County Council held on Saturday, 9th March, 1912.

THE following resolution, made by the Heathcote County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Heathcote County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £7,618, authorized to be raised by the Heathcote County Council, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out the undermentioned works, the said Heathcote County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅝d. in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Hillsborough Riding, more particularly described as follows—starting on the Heathcote River bank at the eastern boundary of Rural Section 122, and along the said boundary in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 3464 links; thence south along the boundary of Rural Section 274 for a distance of 3192 links; thence 1058 links westerly on Hills Road; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Rural Sections 388, 9640, 23, 558, 23559 for a distance of 11154 links; and then in a westerly direction along the Ridge Road for a distance of 6200 links to its junction with Whites Road; then northerly along Whites Road to its junction with the River Heathcote, and following the course of the River Heathcote to its intersection with the Lyttelton to Christchurch Railway line; thence along the railway-line for a distance of 13400 links to its junction with the Hillsborough Road; thence northerly along the Hillsborough Road to its junction with the River Heathcote; and then easterly, following the course of the river, to the starting-point: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of July and the 1st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
