Additional Land at Woodville taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land at Woodville, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 19427, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road near Pukerua.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Wellington and Manawatu Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road:
And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of Railways that such land is not required for railway purposes: And whereas such land is situated in the County of Hutt, the local authority of which has assented to the issue of this Proclamation:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor is of opinion that the said local authority can conveniently construct and maintain the said road:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Hutt County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing an area of 3 roods 23·4 perches, more or less, being a portion of railway land near Pukerua, on the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway, and being a part of Block VI, Paekakariki Survey District; as the said parcel of land is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 19384, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
