Know all men that __, a hawker, is duly licensed to sell his goods in the kainga of the __ district for one year from the date hereof.

The above by-laws were passed at a meeting of the Maori Council for the Kahungunu Maori District held at Te Wairoa on the 23rd day of April, 1912; and are given under the seal of the said Council.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XIII, Waiawa Survey District, Opotiki County, for Road Purposes.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road in Block XIII, Waiawa Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Motu, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.

Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of a Road in Blocks XI and XV, Pirongia Survey District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of the Public Works Act, 1908, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, on the 1st day of October, 1909, taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 26th day of February, 1909.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Wellington Gas Stokers and Colkersβ Industrial Union of Workers, registered number 353, situated at Wellington, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 21 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.
