hereby taken for the purpose of working the Pakawau Coal-mine, and shall vest in the Seaford Coal Company (Limited) :
And I do also declare that all claims arising out of or connected with the taking of the said land or the construction of works thereon or otherwise however shall be paid by the said company.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this tenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Land taken in the City of Dunedin for a Drill-shed.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Defence Act, 1909, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a drill-shed in the City of Dunedin :
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Defence Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a drill-shed.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, for the preservation of scenery in Block X, Waipakura Survey District :
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the preservation of scenery; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
