Portion of a Primary Education Endowment in Block IX, Mount Fyffe Survey District, Marlborough Land District. set apart as a Site for a Public School.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by section five of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1911, it is enacted that the Governor may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are situated any reserves or endowments vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, set apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical schools any part of such reserves or endowments :

And whereas the Land Board of the Marlborough Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of the primary education endowment described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as a site for a public school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the portion of the primary education endowment described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a public school.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 34·5 perches, more or less, being part Section 217, Kaikoura Suburban (Block IX, Mount Fyffe Survey District). Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 218, Kaikoura Suburban, 500 links; towards the north-east and south-east by remaining portion of Section 217 aforesaid, 400 links and 500 links respectively; and towards the south-west by a 1-chain road, 400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1912/264, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Secondary Education Endowment in Block I, Invercargill Hundred, Southland Land District, set apart as a Site for a Boys’ High School.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by section five of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1911, it is enacted that the Governor may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are situated any reserves or endowments vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, set apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical schools any part of such reserves or endowments :

And whereas the Land Board of the Southland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the secondary education endowment described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as a site for a boys’ high school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the secondary education endowment described in the Schedule hereto as a site for a boys’ high school.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 1 rood 4 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 23, Block I, Invercargill Hundred. Bounded towards the north by Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, Land Transfer plan 696, 1043·3 links; towards the west by said Lot 8, 206 links; again towards the north by Herbert Street, 100 links; towards the east by Lot 10 on the said Land Transfer plan, 206 links; again towards the north by said Lot 10 and by Lots 11, 12, 13, and 14 on the said Land Transfer plan, 1100 links; again towards the east by Elles Road, 306 links; towards the south by Lot 17 on the said Land Transfer plan, 249·9 links; again towards the east by said Lot 17 and Lot 18, 412 links; again towards the south by Section 22, Block I, Invercargill Hundred, 1993·3 links; and again towards the west by Coronation Avenue, 718 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1829, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Branding Registration Districts of Taupo and Wanganui abolished, and new Branding Registration Districts of Taupo, Wanganui, and Waimarino constituted.—Notice No. 1594.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS it is expedient that the Taupo and Wanganui Branding Registration Districts as at present constituted should be abolished, and that new branding registration districts as described in the Schedule hereto should be constituted in lieu thereof :

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Stock Act, 1908, do hereby abolish the Taupo and Wanganui Branding Registration Districts as at present constituted, and do hereby constitute in lieu thereof the branding registration districts as set forth in the Schedule hereto, and declare that the said districts shall hereafter be comprised as described in the said Schedule; and also do hereby appoint the persons set opposite thereto in the said Schedule to be the Registrars of the said districts accordingly.

Branding Registration District. Registrar. Location of Registrar.
Taupo Branding Registration District (All that area comprising the Counties of Kawhia, West Taupo, Waitomo, Awakino, East Taupo, Matamata, and Ohura as at present constituted, and including all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area.) Robert Alexander Borough of Hamilton.
Wanganui Branding Registration District (All that area comprising the County of Wanganui as at present constituted, and including all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area.) Duncan Munro .. Borough of Wanganui.
Waimarino Branding Registration District (All that area comprising the Counties of Waimarino and Kaitieke as at present constituted, and including all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area.) .. Ditto.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
