Appointments, Promotions, Resignations, Retirements, and Transfers of New Zealand Staff Corps and Territorial Force Officers.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, retirements, and transfers of the undermentioned New Zealand Staff Corps and Territorial Force Officers :—
New Zealand Staff Corps.
Captain Robert Carpenter, Assistant Adjutant and Quartermaster-General, Auckland District, retires with the honorary rank of Major. Dated 30th March, 1912.
1st Mounted Rifles (Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry).
The undermentioned officers resign their commissions :—
Captain George Edward Rhodes. Dated 14th February, 1912.
Lieutenant William Hawkins. Dated 11th February, 1912.
2nd Lieutenant Kenneth James Sinclair Murchison. Dated 23rd February, 1912.
2nd Lieutenant Thomas Morton is transferred to the Unattached List (b) for service with the Senior Cadets. Dated 11th March, 1912.
The undermentioned 2nd Lieutenants to be Lieutenants :—

4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles.
Lieutenant Robert John Nicholson resigns his commission. Dated 1st September, 1911.
Cornelius James, Esq., to be 2nd Lieutenant, supernumerary to the establishment. Dated 11th March, 1912.
5th Mounted Rifles (Otago Hussars).
Lieutenant William Kerr resigns his commission. Dated 5th February, 1912.
9th (Wellington East Coast) Mounted Rifles.
Corporal Alan Standish Wilder to be 2nd Lieutenant, supernumerary to the establishment. Dated 11th March, 1912.
10th (Nelson) Mounted Rifles.
Lieutenant John Schaw Rutherfurd is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 11th March, 1912.
New Zealand Field Artillery.
Captain Frank William Graham Herdman is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 11th March, 1912.
2nd Lieutenant William Janson to be Lieutenant, to complete establishment. Dated 11th March, 1912.
Victor Rogers, Esq., to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 11th March, 1912.
New Zealand Garrison Artillery.
Major Frederick John Courtney to be Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 21st January, 1912.

4th Regiment (Otago Rifles).
Lieutenant Peter Doull, from the New Zealand Garrison Artillery, to be Captain, under the provisions of paragraph 125, General Regulations, 1911. Dated 11th March, 1912.
Lieutenant David Cooke, from the New Zealand Garrison Artillery, to be Lieutenant.
5th Regiment (Wellington Rifles).
Major Charles Harcourt Turner to be Lieutenant-Colonel, vice Duthie, transferred to Reserve of Officers. Dated 21st January, 1912.
