NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ALPHONSO WILLIAM HENSLEY and ANDREW CRICHTON, carrying on business as Machinists, Engineers, and Blacksmiths, at 45 Stafford Street, Dunedin, under the style of “Crichton and Hensley,” has been dissolved by the retirement by mutual consent of the said ANDREW CRICHTON, as from the first March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
The business will be carried on by Mr. ALPHONSO WILLIAM HENSLEY in the same style, and he will receive and discharge all moneys owing to and by the late firm.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned, James Patrick Herlihy, William Hall, and Frederick Schrick, all of Patearoa, Farmers, hereby apply for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Commencing in the Sowburn Creek at a point opposite Section 22, Block I, Upper Taieri District; running north-westerly to and through said Section 22 and Section 21 of said Block I, crossing county road; and thence through Sections 8, 1, and 2, all in said Block I, and terminating in said Section 2 at the northern boundary thereof.
Length and intended course of race: 1½ miles; north-westerly, then north-easterly and north.
Points of intake: One, the commencing-point, Sowburn Creek.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Four months; £30.
Mean depth and breadth: 1 ft. by 3 ft.
Number of heads to be diverted: Four.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON PROPOSAL THAT HENCEFORTH THE SYSTEM OF RATING PROPERTY ON THE BASIS OF THE UNIMPROVED VALUE THEREOF BE ADOPTED IN THE BOROUGH OF RIVERTON.
PURSUANT to section 39 of the Rating Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Riverton taken on the 18th day of March, 1912, on the proposal that henceforth the system of rating property on the basis of the unimproved value thereof be adopted in the Borough of Riverton, the following votes were recorded, viz.:
