NOTE.—Separate minimum loads (under one ton weight or measurement) from, or to, or between different places shall be paid for as full loads; but this shall not apply to any loads over one ton weight or measurement, which shall be paid for in proportion—e.g., 25 cwt. = 1¼ loads; 30 cwt. = 1½ loads; 35 cwt. = 1¾ loads. Where the Storekeeper’s order specifies the weight or measurement of the material or states the number of loads, such order shall be the basis of payment under the contract.

THE undermentioned sawn timber to be supplied of any size and description, as required:—
EXTRAS.—An extra 6d. per 100 sup. ft. to be paid for each foot in excess of 24 ft. in length—e.g., 24 ft. long, 10s. per 100 sup. ft.; 30 ft. long, 13s. per 100 sup. ft. The same advance to be allowed on boards or planks up to 4 in. thick for each inch over 12 in. in width—e.g., boards 12 in. wide, 7s. 6d. per 100 sup. ft.; 15 in. wide, 9s. per. 100 sup. ft. The extra rate in each case to be computed on the whole piece.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands will be offered for lease by public auction at the District Lands Office, Napier, at 11 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, 13th June, 1912, under the provisions of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and amendment.

Situated about a mile and a quarter from Weber on the main Dannevirke to Herbertville Road. Well watered by the Tahuokaretu Stream. Soil fair, on clay formation; small portion in flat, and balance is undulating and hilly; all in grass.

Situated about two miles and a quarter from Weber and a mile and a quarter from the main Dannevirke to Herbertville Road. Well watered by several streams. Section is somewhat rough and broken by steep gullies; soil is good; all in grass, with the exception of about 35 acres.
Terms and Conditions of Lease.

Term of lease, twenty-one years, subject to termination by twelve months’ notice in the event of the land being required by the Government.

A deposit of a half-year’s rent and £1 1s. lease fee must be paid on the fall of the hammer.

Possession will be given on 1st July, 1912, from which date rent will commence.
