Notice of Acceptance of Complete Specifications.

Wellington, 6th March, 1912.
COMPLETE specifications relating to the undermentioned applications for Letters Patent have been accepted, and are open to public inspection at this office. Any person may, at any time within two months from the date of this Gazette, give me notice in writing of opposition to the grant of any such patent. Such notice must set forth the particular grounds of objection, and be in duplicate. A fee of 10s. is payable thereon.
The copies of claims and extracts from the specifications and drawings are merely intended to give some further indication of the invention than is disclosed in the title, and the complete specifications and drawings should be referred to for a description of the invention.
No. 29178.—24th February, 1911.—JOHN HENRY GRAHAM, of Christchurch, New Zealand, Engine-driver. Improved means for use in operating tramway-points.*
Claim.—Means for operating tramway-points characterized by the use of a lever fulcrummed at or near its middle, a pair of cam surfaces secured upon one end of the lever adapted to be operated by suitable means from the car-platform, and a connecting-rod secured to the opposite end of said lever attached to the movable portion of the point, substantially as described and shown.

Claim.—In means for the purpose described, a slab formed with a slot extending longitudinally along it, a cutting wire, a cross-bar extending beneath the slab across the slot, to which one end of the wire is fastened, and a cross-bar extending beneath the slab across the slot near its back end, and beneath which the wire is passed, substantially as specified.
