SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres and 30 perches, more or less, being Reserve 3849 (in red) (Lots 20 and 34 of a subdivision of Reserve 1824, Springfield), situated in Block XI, Kowai Survey District. Bounded towards the north by the tramway reserve forming the northern boundary of Reserve 1824, towards the east by Lot 21 of said Reserve 1824, towards the south by Lot 19 of the last-named reserve, and towards the south-west by a road-line; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1710, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eleven

Land temporarily reserved for the Growth and Preservation of Timber in Crookston, Rankleburn, and Glenkenich Survey Districts, Otago Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the growth and preservation of timber.
SCHEDULE.
ALL the bush and timbered areas, containing approximately 2,600 acres, in those portions of the Crookston, Rankleburn, and Glenkenich Survey Districts, at present held under pastoral licenses under the Land Act, 1892, and comprised within the following boundaries: Commencing at Trig. L in Block XIV, Crookston, and bounded thence generally on the south-east by a right line to Trig. U in Block XX, Crookston District; thence by a right line to Trig. F in Block X, said district; thence by a right line to Trig. K in Block IX, Rankleburn District; thence by a right line to Trig. J in Block X, Rankleburn District; thence by a right line to Trig. F, Block XI, Glenkenich District; thence by a right line to the south-east corner of Section 68 of said Block XI, Glenkenich District; thence bounded generally by the west, north, and north-west boundaries of Pastoral Runs 140A, 140B, and 163 to the point of commencement.

Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 1852·6 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 1873·1 links and 289·2 links; and towards the west by Section 6 in the said block, 2381 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1702/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Bounded towards the north-east by a public road along the bank of the Waiau River, 1900 links; towards the south-west by Section 63 in the said block, 1280 links; and towards the north-west by a public road, 1080·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1497/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in the Marlborough Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change, exchange, or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and in the case of any reserve made under the authority of section three hundred and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one or more of the purposes named in the said Class II, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made :
