Altering the Middle-line of a Portion of the Stratford–Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS, under the provisions in that behalf of section one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, a portion of the middle-line of the Stratford–Main Trunk Railway was defined by a Proclamation dated the seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven :
And whereas it has been found necessary in the construction of such railway to alter such line in manner hereinafter appearing :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the aforesaid section one hundred and eighty-eight, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke the Schedule to the said Proclamation defining the middle-line of a portion of the said railway on the plan numbered P.W.D. 30268, referred to therein; and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said portion of railway shall be as defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point marked 0 miles 0 chains on the plan herein referred to, being a point on the North Island Main Trunk Railway 69 miles 60 chains from Te Awamutu, in Block II, Rangi Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., part of Block II and Block I, Rangi Survey District; Block XI, Tangitu Survey District; again through the north-west corner of Block I, Rangi Survey District, and through part of Block IV, Ohura Survey District, to a point marked 5 miles 76 chains on the said plan, being a point on the old trial line, Stratford–Ongarue Railway, about 7 chains south of the 12-mile peg in Block IV, Ohura Survey District, being a length of about 5 miles 76 chains: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Taranaki Land District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 30725, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for Defence Training-grounds in Block IV, Manganui Survey District, Waimarino County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is enacted that, if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under the Public Works Act, 1908, and before the payment of award of compensation in respect of the taking thereof, it is found that any land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, or that any error in form or substance exists in or in relation to that Proclamation, the Governor may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary :
And whereas it is found that a portion of the land taken for the purpose of Defence training-grounds in Block IV, Manganui Survey District, Waimarino County, by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1908, dated the eleventh day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 13, page 616, of the sixteenth day of the same month, is not required for the purpose for which it was taken: And whereas compensation in respect of the taking of the said land has not been paid or awarded :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the said Proclamation as affects the portion of land aforesaid—viz., 366 acres 3 roods 38 perches, being portion of Waimarino No. 4 Block, situated in Block IV, Manganui Survey District (shown bordered green on the plan marked P.W.D. 30812, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District), being part of the land taken by the said Proclamation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is enacted that, if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under the Public Works Act, 1908, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect of the taking thereof, it is found that any land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, or that any error in form or substance exists in or in relation to that Proclamation, the Governor may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or in so far as he thinks necessary :
And whereas it is found that the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of the land taken for the preservation of scenery in Blocks XI, XII, and XIV, Rarote Survey District, by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1908, dated the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 67, page 2551, of the seventeenth day of the same month, are not required for the purpose for which they were taken: And whereas compensation in respect of the taking of the said land has not been paid or awarded :
