GENERAL NOTE.—In the case where two or more positions are held by the same person, the salary set down opposite one of these positions is the total inclusive salary payable to such person in respect of all the positions so held by him. Except where otherwise specified hereinafter, where fees are payable to any officer, or when any sum is payable by any local authority for the services of any officer, such fees or sum shall be paid into the Public Account. Further, if any Government Department or any local authority provides a house or other emolument for the benefit of any officer of the public service, the annual value of such house or emolument shall, except where otherwise specified hereinafter, be deducted from the salary of such officer.
