Dissolving the General Assembly.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

To the LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLORS of the DOMINION of NEW ZEALAND, and
the MEMBERS of PARLIAMENT elected to serve in the HOUSE of
REPRESENTATIVES of the said Dominion, and to all whom it may
concern—GREETING.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS I have thought fit to dissolve the General Assembly of New
Zealand, which stands prorogued to the twentieth day of November,
one thousand nine hundred and eleven: Now know ye that I, John Poynder
Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do for that end publish this Proclamation, and do hereby dissolve the said General
Assembly accordingly as from the date hereof; and the said Legislative Councillors,
and the said Members of Parliament elected to serve in the House of Representa-
tives, are accordingly discharged from their meeting and attendance on the said
twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John
Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New
Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the seal of the
said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this
twentieth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and eleven.
