Minister's Decisions under Customs Duties Act.

Department of Trade and Customs, Wellington, 30th January, 1911.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the Hon. the Minister of Customs has decided to interpret the
Customs Duties Act in relation to the undermentioned articles as follows:—

NOTE.—"Not otherwise enumerated" appears as n.o.e.; "other kinds" as o.k.; "articles and materials suited only for, and to be
used solely in, the fabrication of goods in the Dominion" as a. & m.s. Articles marked thus † are revised decisions.

Record. Goods. Classification under Tariff, and Item No. Rate of Duty: General Tariff. Rate of Duty: Preferential Surtax on Foreign Goods.
A. & m.s., viz.:—
11/40 Anatomical web (elastic) used in manu-
facture of artificial limbs		 As a. & m.s. (485) .. .. .. Free.
10/2119 Cardboard, pasteboard, wood-pulp board,
and corrugated board (Tariff item 347),
"royal" to mean 19 in. by 24 in. or its
equivalent, or over.		 .. .. ..
11/109 Heel tips, "Snows" eclipse .. .. As heel-plates (113) .. .. 22 1/2 per cent. 11 1/4 per cent.
10/2181 Motor-car, spy-hole of glass and metal for
wind-screen of		 As manufactured articles of metal

11/96 Pen for relief writing, the "Scriptor," for
