Extension of Treaty of Commerce and Navigation with the Government of Honduras.

IT is hereby notified that a despatch has been received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies stating that the Treaty of Commerce and Navigation between the United Kingdom and Honduras has been extended for a period of six months from the 6th October, 1910.

Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of a Road through Section 32, Block XIV, Ohura Survey District, Taranaki Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 14 of the Land Act, 1908, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 14th day of November, 1910.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks XI, Thames, and II, VI, and VII, Waihou Survey Districts, for the more effective Carrying-out of Drainage and other Works in the Hauraki Plains.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Hauraki Plains Act, 1908, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the more effective carrying-out of drainage and other works authorized by the latter Act. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Thames, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Plants declared to be Noxious Weeds by the Buller County Council.—Notice No. 1469.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the Buller County Council has by special order declared Bathurst burr, broom, burdock, dock, elderberry, fennel, foxglove, giant burdock, gorse, hakea, hemlock, kangaroo, acacia, ox-eye daisy, pennyroyal, periwinkle, ragwort or ragweed, St. John’s wort, tauhinu or New Zealand cottonwood; thistles, any species of Carlina (stemless thistle), Carduus (common plume or Scotch thistle), Cnicus (woolly-headed thistle), Centaurea (star thistle), Silybum (milk thistle); tutsan, viper’s bugloss, wild borage, wild turnip, and winged thistle to be noxious weeds within the meaning of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, in the Buller County.
