Claim.—(1.) Improved fore-carriage for horse-drawn vehicles comprising a pair of short pivoted arms into which short axles on the wheels are fitted, means for supporting the fore part of the vehicle, and means for guiding said pivoted arms through the medium of the draw mechanism, for the purposes specified.

Claims.—(2.) Improvements in draught-attachments for reapers-and-binders and the like, comprising the rear bar (1), the bar (6), the bracket (7) secured to the pole (8), and means for pivotally securing the same together, substantially as and for the purpose set forth. (3.) Improvements in draught-attachments for reapers-and-binders and the like comprising the bent crank-shaped rod (17), substantially as and for the purpose set forth.

No. 30021.—11th August, 1911.—FRANTZ JENSEN, of 5 St. Paulsgade, Copenhagen, Denmark, Engineer. Ship or vessel propelled by suction and pressure effects working under its bottom.
Claims.—(1.) In a ship or vessel worked by suction and pressure effects acting under the bottom, the arrangement of forward-pointing suction-pipes protruding through the back half of the ship’s bottom, and astern-pointing pressure-pipes protruding through the forward half of the ship’s bottom, the suction and pressure pipes being so arranged that the position of the ship in relation to the horizontal plane, and to a certain extent its speed, thereby are regulated. (2.) In a ship or vessel, the combination of suction and pressure pipes according to claim 1 with pipes of a well-known kind for suction and pressure of water and air.
