NOTICE OF RETIREMENT FROM PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly carried on, under the style of “The Temuka Butter and Cheese Company,” by JAMES WILLIAM GLASS, JOHN HAMILTON REID TAYLOR, and GEORGE HENDERSON was dissolved as from the 30th day of June, 1908, so far as concerns the said JAMES WILLIAM GLASS, who retired from the said firm.

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908; and in the matter of Lot 1, part Subdivision 2, Section 3, Block 2, Waitara Survey District, containing 4 acres.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Taranaki Education Board proposes to take the above-mentioned land under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and to erect thereon a public school.
A plan of the said land, showing the names of the owners and occupiers thereof, is deposited for inspection at the office of the Clifton County Council at Waitara.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said land or the erection of the said public school, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Taranaki Education Board at New Plymouth.

THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between ARTHUR EDGAR BULLOCK and GEORGE WILLIAM CURRIE is dissolved by mutual consent as from the 30th day of September, 1911. The business of Barristers and Solicitors hitherto carried on by the above-named at Wanganui and Waverley, under the style of “Bullock and Currie,” will, after the above-mentioned date, be carried on by GEORGE WILLIAM CURRIE and HAMILTON MACKENZIE DOUGLAS, under the style of “Bullock, Currie, and Douglas.” Dated this 30th day of September, 1911.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between ALEXANDER AITKEN and JOHN TELFER, carrying on business as Butchers and Bakers at Mataura, under the style or firm of “Telfer and Aitken,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 13th day of September, 1911.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said ALEXANDER AITKEN.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1909; and in the matter of the Halswell Quarry Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute-book of the Halswell Quarry Company (Limited), dated the 2nd day of October, 1911, signed by upwards of three-fourths of the members holding in the aggregate upwards of three-fourths of the shares in the capital of the company, constituting a special resolution under the Companies Act, it was resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that CECIL MORTON OLLIVIER, of Christchurch, Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.
Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.
Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication, a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
