easterly along the northern boundary of 239 to its intersection with 238; thence following the northern boundary of 238 to its northern corner; thence south-easterly along the eastern boundary of Section 238 to a road; thence crossing the said road into Section 135 to a point produced to the edge of Shipherd’s Swamp; thence westerly circling the south-east side of the said swamp to a road; thence easterly along the said road to its intersection with the road known as the Elbow Road; thence south-easterly along the said road to the Waikato River; thence south-westerly down the north bank of the said river to the point of commencement at the south corner of Section 199: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above was duly made and agreed to at a meeting of the Akaaka Drainage Board held on the 21st day of September, 1911, and in accordance with the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its Amendment Act, 1910, and other statutes relating thereto.

THE following resolutions, made by the Rodney County Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

RODNEY COUNTY.
Omaha-Whangateau Harbour Special-loan District.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and charges on a loan of £550, authorized to be raised by the Rodney County Council (acting as a Harbour Board for the harbour of Whangateau-Omaha), under the above-mentioned Acts, for building a new wharf and approaches at Leigh, and to pay off the overdraft on the Ti Point Wharf, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property of the Omaha-Wangateau Harbour Special-loan District, comprising all the area within the following boundaries: Commencing at the north-east boundary of Section 156c, Omaha Parish; thence proceeding by the northern boundary both of that section and Section 156A to the middle-line of the public road; thence by the middle-line of the said road to the south-western corner of Section 132, by the western boundary of the said section to the public road; thence by the said road till it reaches the south-eastern corner of Section 126; thence by the east and northern boundaries of that section; thence by the western boundary of Section 159; thence by a public road to the south-western boundary of the north part of Section 71; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 105, 106, by the eastern boundaries of Sections 108 and 109; thence by the southern boundary of the last-named section; thence by the public road to the north-eastern boundary of Section 113; thence by the north and west boundaries of the said Section 113 (all of the said sections hereinbefore mentioned being in Omaha Parish) until the south-eastern corner of Section 102A, Pakiri Parish, is reached; thence by the southern boundary of that section to its conjunction with the eastern boundary of Section 94, Pakiri Parish; thence to the road at the south-east corner of the said Section 94; thence by that road to the north-east corner of Section 101, Pakiri Parish; thence continuing by another road to the south-western boundary of Section 55, Pakiri Parish; thence by the western boundary of the last-named section to its north-west corner; from thence by a right line to the south-east corner of the State-forest reserve, the said right line running through Pakiri No. 1, Blocks X and VI, Pakiri Survey District; thence by the south-east boundary of the said State-forest reserve to the sea, and from thence by the sea to the commencing-point. Such area being portions of Blocks I and II, Rodney Survey District; Blocks XV, XI, X, VII, and VI, Pakiri Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and to be payable yearly upon the last Friday in January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Rodney County Council held on the 31st day of August, 1911.

Albert Special-loan District.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £800, authorized to be raised by the Rodney County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for forming and metalling the Port Albert—Wellsford Junction Road and the Port Albert—Wellsford Valley Road, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/5 of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property of the Albert Special-loan District, comprising the Albertland South Road District and Sections 16 and 290, Parahake, in Blocks XIV, XV, and X, Otamatea Survey District, and Sections 25, 26, 31, 7, 6, 5, part 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 75, part 76, part 145, 145A, 146, 147, and 148, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District; the remaining portions of Sections 1, 145, and Sections 70, 69, 68, 67, 71, 72, 109, 160, 158, 157, 170c, 73, 149A, and parts of Sections 76, 149, 74, 116, in Block XV, Otamatea Survey District; the remaining portions of Sections 74, 116, 149, 76, and Sections 130, 118, 117, 119, 126A, in Blocks III and IV, Tauhoa Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and to be payable yearly upon the last Friday in January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Te Hana Mangawai Special-loan District.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loan Act, 1908, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the amendments thereof, the Rodney County Council resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of paying the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Rodney County Council, by vote of the ratepayers of the Te Hana Mangawai Special-loan District, for forming and metalling the Te Hana—Mangawai Road, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Te Hana Mangawai Special-loan District, comprising all that area within the following boundaries: Starting at the north-east boundary of Arai Parish; proceeding by that boundary to the south-east corner of Section 64, Arai Parish; thence by the south-western boundaries of Sections 64, 59, 55, and the southern boundary of Section 34, all of Arai Parish; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 65, 66, 68, the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 83, by the southern boundary of Section 82 to the north-eastern boundary of the north-east part of Section 98; thence by the eastern boundary of that part section; thence by the southern boundary of Section 98; and thence by the western boundary of the same section till it reaches the southern boundary of Section 187; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 187 and 186 and the eastern boundary of Section 185, all Oruawharo Parish; thence to the west by the Te Hana River to its confluence with the Mainene River; thence northwards by the Mainene River to the south-western boundary of Section 75A, Oruawharo Parish; thence northwards by that parish boundary; thence eastward by the same parish boundary to the south-western corner of the west part of Section 93, Mangawai Parish; thence northwards by the county boundary to the sea; thence by the sea to the commencement-point. Such area being part of Blocks II, III, V, I, IV, Pakiri Survey District; IV, VIII, IX, Otamatea Survey District; and III and IV, Mangawai Survey District.
