THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
[No. 71

XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Otamatea, on Friday, the 22nd day of September, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the land, or any part thereof, shall be accepted.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Hukatere B No. 3 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Otamatea, on Friday, the 22nd day of September, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the land, or any part thereof, shall be accepted.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Pahunahuna No. 1a No. 1b will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Helensville, on Wednesday, the 20th day of September, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That the said land be sold to William Henry Madill, of Auckland, accountant, for the sum of £8 per acre.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Rarapuka No. 2b will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Helensville, on Wednesday, the 20th day of September, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That a portion of the said land be sold to William Henry Madill, of Auckland, accountant, for the sum of £3 per acre.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that the meeting of owners of the Tahoraite No. 2 Block, which was adjourned on the 11th August, 1911, will be continued at the meeting-house, Tahoraiti, on Thursday, the 21st September, 1911, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.

Maori Lands for Lease by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of the Native Land Act, 1909, and the regulations thereunder, that the lands described in the First Schedule hereto will be offered for lease by public auction, at the Native Office, Wanganui, at 2 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, 27th September, 1911, on the terms and conditions set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

The above suburban lots are situated on the Wanganui River frontage, where the Ohotu Road junctions with the River Road, and have a special value as providing accommodation for moving stock. Classified as second-class land. The smaller areas partly cleared; the larger areas in light bush.

NOTE.—Lot 5 is subject to a right of road to be taken in the event of any one other than the lessee of Section 1 adjoining being the successful bidder. Lot 16 is burdened with a valuation of £100 for the wool-shed and yards thereon. This sum must be paid to the Board in the event of the successful bidder being other than the person recognized by the Board to be equitably entitled to the value of the improvements.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

CONDITIONS OF SALE.

  1. The leases are offered at the upset rentals shown opposite to each section described in the First Schedule hereto.

  2. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser of the lease of each lot. In the event of any lots not being disposed of at first offering, the Board may put any of them up again
