NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders will be received at this office up to 5 o’clock p.m. on Friday, the 8th day of September, 1911, for a lease of the under-mentioned land, under Part I of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

THE unoccupied portion of Reserve No. 1663, Block XIII, Town of Rakaia, Survey District of Rakaia. Area, 2 acres 2 roods 23 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Rolleston Street and Railway Terrace East, towards the east by Bridge Street, towards the south by South Rakaia Road West, and again towards the west by Railway Terrace East.
Term: Fourteen years.
Conditions: Fences to be kept in good repair, and land to be kept clear of noxious weeds.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land is open for selection on renewable lease; and applications will be received at the District Lands Office, Invercargill, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, the 27th day of September, 1911, under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.

Applicants will have to appear personally before the Land Board at the District Lands Office, Invercargill, at 10 o’clock a.m. on Thursday, the 28th September, 1911, to answer any questions the Land Board may ask, but if any applicant so desires he may be examined by the Land Board of the district in which he resides.

The ballot for the section, if there is more than one applicant, will be held on Thursday, the 28th September, 1911, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., at the District Lands Office, Invercargill.

Preference will be given to landless applicants, and the decision of the Land Board as to which of the applicants are landless shall be final and conclusive.

Description.
